Dius bos deia buonos dies!
We are the Grupo de Pauliteiros de Sendim, one of the traditional dance groups of the Miranda region in north-eastern Portugal. We bring with us what defines us: our traditions, our Mirandese language, our culture - the soul of a people.

The dance of the pauliteiros is one of the most striking expressions of the Miranda region’s culture. To the sound of bagpipes, snare and bass drum, pauliteiros and pauliteiras cross and strike their sticks in lhaços handed down from generation to generation.
